Standard Warranty Included (3 Months) – A1 Approved Bronze

Every vehicle we sell includes a 3-month A1 Approved Bronze Warranty as standard.

Bronze is designed to protect you against sudden, unexpected mechanical failure of the listed components. If a part is not specifically listed, it is not covered under Bronze.

What Bronze Covers (key components):

Engine (internal lubricated parts):
Big end bearings, con rods, crankshaft, camshaft, cam followers, cylinder bores, cylinder head (excluding cracks), distributor drive, main bearings, inlet valves, exhaust valves, valve guides, pistons and rings, tappet gear, timing gears, chains, starter ring gear, oil pump, gudgeon pins, small end bearings, valve springs, valve collets, rocker shafts, and internal bushings

Gearbox – Manual (internal failures):
All internal failures of: gears, synchromesh hubs, selectors, shafts, input shaft, layshaft, mainshaft, reverse idler gear, reverse idler shaft, selector shafts and selector forks, bearings and bushes.

Gearbox – Automatic Transmission (internal failures):
All internal failures of: gears, clutches, brake bands, valve block, oil pump, drive plate, pinion carrier, sun gear, reverse sun gear, internal shafts, unidirectional clutch, bearings and bushes.

Torque Converter:
Casings, impellor, blades, master splines and drive.

Overdrive:
Gears, shafts, bearings and bushes.

Differential:
Crown wheel and pinion gears, shafts, bearings and bushes, planet gears, planet carriers, thrust washers.

Castings / Casings:
Casings are covered only if they have been damaged by any of the listed (covered) parts.

Upgrade Your Warranty – Platinum Cover

You can upgrade at point of sale or for up to 7 days after handover to A1 Approved Platinum for longer peace of mind:

Platinum is A1 Approved’s most comprehensive component cover, with significantly wider protection across mechanical and electrical systems compared to Bronze.

Why Upgrade to Platinum?

1) Much wider component protection

Bronze is limited to a defined list (mainly core drivetrain items). Platinum is designed to cover a far wider range of mechanical and electrical components, including systems that are commonly expensive when they fail (steering, suspension, electronics, air con, fuel system, brakes, etc.). 

2) Longer-term peace of mind

If you’re planning to keep the car longer, upgrading to 12–36 months reduces the risk of an unexpected repair bill during ownership. 

3) Extra convenience benefits (subject to claim approval)

Platinum includes additional benefits such as recovery contribution and vehicle hire where a valid claim is accepted and authorised in advance.
